Oil level is checked in the glass covered window on LS650s. Big discussion down the page on the correct vs published amount. My 96 owners manual and the shop manual suggest 1800ml w/o filter change, 2400ml with filter change, about 2.5 us Quarts. No reference to a 17mm hex bolt anywhere for checking oil level. Max
